Dc motor in the use of heating is normal phenomenon, but there is a certain range of control. Some users find fever feel is not a problem, in fact, the cause of fever we can understand from several aspects.
Dc motor heating 70-90℃ is a normal phenomenon, as long as it is less than 130℃, there is generally no problem, if you really feel overheating, the drive current is set to about 70% of the rated current of the motor or the motor speed is reduced. When there is no malfunction, it will normally heat up. Of course, the normal heating temperature is not too high.
The reason for the normal heating of DC motor:
1, the coil has resistance, current flow loss power;
2, the magnetic field of the iron core has a "hysteresis loop", a part of the magnetic energy of the electric energy transformation continues to change into heat energy;
3, there is eddy current in the iron core. Part of the magnetic energy converted by electric energy is changed into current and then into heat energy.
4, there is friction between the mechanical parts, electric energy conversion of a part of the kinetic energy continues to change into heat.
Understand the causes of DC motor heating, we can be reasonable control. If the temperature is out of the normal range, then should stop the work in time, make the corresponding inspection work, and do processing.
